《虹猫蓝兔奥悠国历险记》是一部二、三维技术结合的奇幻题材动画系列片，共52 集，每集17分钟。《虹猫蓝兔奥悠国历险记》讲述的是虹猫、蓝兔参加梦之国统一周年庆典时，接获从邻近奥悠国发来的求救信。两人和迈克尔一起奉命前往奥悠国查探，却发现这里人人都失去了梦想，且在逐步瓷化。为拯救奥悠国的人们，虹猫、蓝兔、唐僧来到奥悠国，开始了造梦行动，却发现这里人们的梦核已经丢失，根本造不了梦。而这一切的始作俑者，来自于一个叫莫妮卡的老女人，当她发现梦核能让自己找回年轻时候的美丽时，于是开始疯狂地用物质享受来诱惑奥悠国的人们出卖梦核。　　要想帮奥悠国的人们找回往日的梦想，虹猫蓝兔和唐僧只有找到超级梦核——梦之子，才能造出美梦。在奥悠国小男孩布丁丁的帮助下，虹猫他们一行踏上了寻找梦之子的征途，可是莫妮卡，会让虹猫他们毁灭她的青春不老计划吗？
