旅行，是朋友、恋人们之间相处的试金石。浙江卫视《奔跑吧》制作团队用这么一个“试金石”，敲开了全新的一扇门。 明星分散4条线路，每条线路中，除去一到两位明星嘉宾，还有来自不同行业和群体的素人，强烈的代入感让人错觉似乎观众就是旅行中的一员。在旅途中，明星与素人的标签被彻底打破，尤其是平时光鲜亮丽的明星嘉宾，在节目中脱去神秘面纱，向同行者以及观众展现出真实的模样。
